Spirit AeroSystems (Europe) Ltd. today celebrated further investment in the Prestwick site with the opening of a new despatch centre. Spirit President and Chief Executive Officer, Tom Gentile and Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Jobs and Fair Work, Keith Brown opened the centre, which was constructed to complement an existing hangar used to assemble wing structures for the Airbus A350XWB aircraft. Glasgow Prestwick Spaceport signs formal partnership agreement with Houston Spaceport

On Tuesday 6 December Glasgow Prestwick Airport welcomed a delegation from Houston Spaceport and Rice Space Institute to meet with representatives from the Scottish space industry and local politicians.
